Tower Cameras of Turku Cathedral
These webcams located on the spire of this cathedral are not pointed at the sky, but do focus on the horizon. While you won’t get a view of heaven, you can get a good look at Turku, a city in southern Finland.
Turku may have a modern appearance, but this city on the River Aura is centuries old and during its time has been the biggest in the country and also the capital. The cathedral has its place in Finnish history and modern day life too. Not only does the cathedral project images of the city, the surrounding countryside and the celestial cloud formations via these live feeds, the midday chimes of its clock are broadcast daily on Yle Radio 1 and have been since 1944. That’s eighty years of good time keeping so definitely a clock to set your watch by.
