River Bure Webcam in Wroxham
There’s no doubt about it, one of the most popular activities for folks visiting or living in the English county of Norfolk, when they have a free weekend, is exploring The Broads on a boat. That’s not surprising when the views from onboard are as scenic as the one on this live feed of the River Bure streamed by Richard from the Wroxham Launch Hire Day Boat Service.
The River Bure meanders for around fifty odd kilometres from its source near the inland town of Melton Constable to the coast where it flows into the North Sea by the seaside town of Gorleston. It’s not the only river to flow through the Broads and Wroxham is just one of the quaint rural villages along its course. Considering that, it’s not surprising that The Broads are a magnet to boating fanatics, both expert and novice alike.
The seven rivers and over sixty broads, call them lakes if you prefer, intertwine to create more than two-hundred kilometres-worth of waterways between Norfolk and Suffolk for boaters to navigate along. There’s plenty of picturesque places to anchor up en-route too and most would inspire any artist to put brush to canvas or in this digital age, get their cameras out. But if you’re not planning on going boating on The Broads anytime soon, thanks to Richard, you can use this view to fuel your creativity or take a screenshot and save it for future inspiration.
