Keeper Bar & Restaurant Webcam in Torrevieja
If you’re searching for a beam or two of warming winter sunshine, you may well be looking at the wrong live feed. Torrevieja isn’t renowned for its year-round balmy climate so try the Canary Island webcams instead. There’ll you find the sun and the online heatwave you’re craving for or, if you can survive a little longer without a dose of digital vitamin D, wait and revisit this cam in the summer months.
Torrevieja is one of the oldest resort areas on Spain’s Costa Blanca. While it’s name, Torrevieja, means old tower, its sandy coastline is now crammed with so many high rise hotels which were built to accommodate vacationing Europeans, it should probably be called Torrenueva. Sadly, the old tower it was originally named for no longer exists nor does much of its fishing village and salt producing ancestry other than in the Museum of Sea and Salt.
But thanks to this live feed, streamed by the Keeper Bar and Restaurant on the seafront promenade, you don’t need to see the mass urbanization that’s taken over Torrevieja. What you’ll see is a nice view of this seaside restaurant and the Med as well as those lucky folk who choose to take a seat on their terrace to enjoy proper Spanish food. And no, before you ask, their menu doesn’t include paella served in a Yorkshire pudding. All we can say is – amen for that.
