Faroe Islands Views

The Faroe Islands may look like the Scottish Highlands with rolling green hills and loch-like lakes, but they’re far from it.

Adrift in the North Atlantic between Iceland, Norway and the furthest reaches of the United Kingdom, the Faroe Islands are a Danish territory with a character all of their own. Life has its own pace there, as it would when it rains almost constantly. What can you do when the weather is as bad as that? There’s only one solution – grow grass on the roof of your home to keep out the cold and the damp and blend in with the rest of the beautiful, but wild, landscape.
