Eforie Webcam on the Black Sea

To get an all-round glimpse of Eforie, a Romanian resort town, you’ll need to stay with this live feed streamed by the Hotel Europe for a good five minutes or more. It’s definitely worth that amount of your time and well, maybe even more as you’re bound to find yourself staying put while the cam pans through its sequence for a second time.

Romania doesn’t have that much of a coast. It may be the 12th largest country in Europe and cover almost a quarter of a million square kilometres, but its only coastline is a mere two-hundred and forty odd kilometres long. All of that coastline faces onto the Black Sea and is, not surprisingly, exploited to the max during the warmer months of the year.

Take a peek at this live feed of Eforie during the off-season months and you’ll be able to enjoy views of deserted beaches and hotel pools with no swimmers in sight to ripple the tranquil waters. Pop back again in the summer months when the season is in full swing and you’ll definitely notice the difference. Why? Because you won’t be able to spot a grain of sand for sun-loungers and parasols. There’s an old saying that goes – make hay while the sun shines. That doesn’t apply in Eforie, or any of the other Black Coast resorts. When the sun shines there they make leu and they have to work hard to do it. If you’re heading there next summer, don’t forget to leave a tip. Do that and you’ll be welcome back any time.
