Clearwater Beach Webcams

Glorious soft white sands are the order of the day on Clearwater Beach which stretch for 2.5 miles along the Gulf of Mexico. All kinds of watersports and activities like jet skiing, parasailing and boat tours take place just off the coast here.

Clearwater has an apt name, literally translated from the Native American ‘Pocotopaug’, it used to have fresh springs with – you’ve guessed it – clear water running from them to the shoreline. Whilst the springs are long gone, the population of the city grew from just 400 in the early 1900s to over 115,000 in the present day.
