If you go down to the woods today near Coullons in France, you may well be in for a big surprise. You won’t find teddy bears enjoying a picnic, but what you might discover is a variety of creative people practising their arts among the trees.

The Charme Theatre Workshop may look like an imaginary fairy dell decked with ivy or even somewhere you’d expect to encounter Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, but it’s neither. On this live feed, you’ll be able to see real people taking part in summertime activities which include music, dance and strangely, the plastic arts. What the trees think of all of that is anyone’s guess. The trees stay, as they always are, silent and sentinel.
