Biggest Goal Light Webcam in Sudbury
There are a variety of ways to celebrate scoring in whatever sport you play. In Sudbury their celebrations are without rival or at least that’s what the Sudbury Wolves Sports and Entertainment company are aiming for. And after one look at this goal light live feed, it’s not hard to come to the decision that, yes, they’ve totally smashed it out of the park. Whether it will be a world record holding goal light remains to be seen, but with its mega dimensions it stands a good chance of topping the tallest goal light league.
The neon fixtures and two and a half thousand LED bulbs which broadcast the illuminating message that a puck has been put in the back of the net are attached to an old water tower structure. The tower stands almost thirty-seven metres high. Not exactly skyscraper height, but when lit, it’ll be an even more outstanding, and a lot more attractive than it was previously, feature of the Sudbury skyline. You don’t have to be a hockey fan to appreciate it either as when there’s no game, the installation will brighten up the Ontario heavens with some spectacular light shows.
How often will the light be doing its thing because the Wolves have scored? Well, you’ll just have to tune in and keep an eye on the cam during a game to find out. Though that said, if you’re mathematically inclined, you could calculate the average possibility of seeing the tower lit up by dividing goals scored by games played. But that’s an activity which can turn out to be as thrilling as viewing the goal light during the daytime. Stick to nighttime viewing and you’ll find it a lot more entertaining all round.
