18th Hole at Fairwood Park Golf Club, Gower

The Gower Peninsula is a beautiful part of southwest Wales that’s further embellished by the pristine greens of the Fairwood Park golf course. The views from the course’s 18th hole are, in fact, so spectacular even the golf carts line up to get a good look at them.

While the six and a half thousand yards plus of this Par 73 course are relatively flat, it’s a tricky one that’s known for its thousands of trees, awkward bunkers and strategically placed lakes. If you manage to get around all the holes without losing a ball or two in the woods, sand or water, fair play, you definitely deserve a celebratory drink in the clubhouse.
