Hertfordshire, or Herts as it is commonly shortened to is designated green belt and includes the Chilterns, a known beauty spot. Hertfordshire has in its time produced some famous names including Cecil Rhodes, Elaine Paige, the Queen Mother, Nick Faldo, Esther Rantzen and Victoria Beckham to name but a few.
