University of Enterprise Intersection Camera in Buenos Aires

If there’s one traffic cam on this site that will keep you mesmerized for hours then it has to be this one. This intersection in Buenos Aires seen via this live feed, streamed by the University of Enterprise, looks like an out of control video game that’s switched itself onto non-stop play and can’t be turned off. There are literally so many vehicle lanes going in all directions, it’s a miracle anyone knows which lane they should be in. Watch long enough, and you’ll soon realise many of the drivers actually don’t have a clue which makes viewing all the more interesting.

The conundrum of an intersection joins several main streets which slice their way through the capital city of Argentina. That’s a city that’s home to over three million people and by looking at this cam, most of them seem to have a vehicle of some sort or another. And they need one to get from A to B as the city spreads its urban reach over more than two-hundred square kilometres along the south bank of the Rio de Plata, one of the largest rivers in the country.

Thanks to the University of Enterprise, the UADE, a private university who’s campus buildings overlook the intersection, you can view this live feed day and night. The UADE is a university specializing in educating the brilliant minds of the future in a variety of topics including economics, communication, engineering and the social sciences to name just a few. Our guess is that those alumni studying environmental management may well find this live feed a valuable source of information for their research, but only if they don’t get hypnotised into a semi-comatose state while watching it.
