Rorschach City Cam
A quick glimpse at this webcam may convince you that Rorschach, a city in northeastern Switzerland, is a coastal city, it’s not. Switzerland is one of the world’s forty-four landlocked countries and has no coastline.
Rorschach occupies the southern shore of Lake Constance, the third largest spread of freshwater in Europe. The lake, which is fed by the River Rhine, stretches an enormous sixty-three kilometres through not just Switzerland but Austria and Germany too. You can hire a pedal boat from Rorschach harbour for a sedate paddle across these tranquil waters. But if you do, it’s a good idea to carry your passport with you because if you go astray you never know which country you could end up in.
