Views Between State Lines Over the Ohio River
The Ohio River is much more than a one-thousand six hundred kilometre long meandering waterway. It also marks the state border between Indiana and Kentucky, part of which you can see on this live feed streamed by KentuckianaNews.com.
The cam shows pretty much the same view as you would get if you were driving from Milton in Kentucky along the US-421 southbound to Madison in Indiana. If you were driving though you’d get a better look at the Milton-Madison Bridge, a cantilever truss bridge that carries ten thousand vehicles plus over the river daily.
In bygone days the maritime traffic on the river would have consisted of steamboats leisurely floating by, but these days if you keep your eyes peeled, you’re more likely to see a streak of yellow as a jet boat streaks its way upstream.
