Village Scenes from the Library in Chrášťany

Chráštany is a sleepy village in the north-west of the Czech Republic twenty kilometers from the capital, Prague. It epitomizes rural Czechia to a T.

Chráštany has a population of around one thousand people and they lead a quiet and relatively uneventful life. That means there’s not a great deal of excitement on this live feed streamed by the village library. You may spot some locals walking their dogs, the odd vehicle flitting past and if you watch long enough, a duck just might fly into land on the pond.
